Building Entrepreneurs Today (BET) program is another laudable innovation from Diamond Bank plc.

A few days ago I received a mail from SME Club Nigeria and I just browsed through it and didn’t give it a 2nd thought until  2 days after when my friend brought it to my attention and suggested that I applied, which I have done.

I have decided to take it a step further by sharing the same email here, for the benefit of thousands of Nigerians out there with great business ideas but no funding. If you are an entrepreneur then I advise you to seize this opportunity, it might just be the big break you have been waiting for.

Diamond bank is moving 50 entrepreneurs to the next level with the Building Entrepreneurs Today (BET) program

As part of its corporate social responsibility strategy, Diamond Bank is collaborating with The Centre for Enterprise Development Services (EDS) of the Pan-African University on an initiative to build the capacity of emerging Entrepreneurs and reward innovation through the “Building Entrepreneurs Today” (BET) program.

Fifty entrepreneurs will be selected to participate in a 3-month entrepreneurial capacity building program that is made up of training as well as support services such as business advisory, Networking and mentoring. After the 3months capacity building, 15 top breeds will be selected from the 50 to move to stage 2 of the program and they will benefit from a 6-month intensive business support services, to help implement what they have learnt in stage 1.

Finally, 5 participants will be selected from the 15 for the Next Level Award. Each of the 5 selected will be awarded a N3million naira grant as additional working capital for their business and a further 3-month business support.

Application is hereby requested from qualified business owners for the BET Program.

Shortlisted applicants will receive an invitation for interview.

Selection criteria will be as follows:

1. Applicant must have a fully functional business( at least 3months in operations)
2. Applicant has not attended any entrepreneurial Management program at EDS.
3. The business must have high growth potential.
