The annual business summit of the Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International (SW 4) Nigeria comes up on the 7th & 8th of June, 2013 at NANS Media Centre, National Arts Theatre Complex, Iganmu, Lagos by 9.00am daily.
I am extremely excited because I will be speaking in this year’s annual business summit alongside Prof’s Pat Utomi and a host of other experienced entrepreneurs (see full list below).
Before proceeding, let me return all glory to God Almighty who through his mercies has made me a growing voice in the ICT space and this is only just the beginning…..
If someone had told me 5 years ago that I’ll become a public speaker (a childhood dream) but more of an ICT speaker and not motivation (which I thought was the way for me), I would probably have said: ‘get thee behind me‘ 🙂 – but today I am most grateful because this has been a faster route for me. Now here is the most interesting part for me, although I teach or speak on ICT, Internet, Social media etc. I never fail to bring in a bit of motivation and personal effectiveness because they have truly helped me.
A little about the organisers of the Annual Business summit – Full Gospel Business Men’s Fellowship International
In 1952, a group of laymen led by late Demos Shakarian, working with a vision from the Holy Spirit, to gather businessmen who would ordinarily not attend a church service but will prefer to go to hotels, restaurants etc. to hang out with friends. The focus of the fellowship for the past 60 years remains to call such men (and women) back to God Almighty.
Well, I joined the FGBMFI Nigeria sometime in 2010 during a pretty bad phase of my life. Of course, the first point of attraction for me back then was the “business” added to the name of the fellowship, so I was not only curious to know and serve God more but also connect/network with people who can change my destiny for good.
3 years after, has this come to pass? I would say yes it is gradually coming to pass, although I largely consider myself as work in progress (WIP). I urge you to become a member of this great fellowship now present in 164 countries and counting.
