Global Entrepreneurship WeekThe Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW) kicks off on the 14th – 20th November, 2011.

Nigeria won’t be left out this time around, a number of organisations have made a commitment to grow the entrepreneurial awareness amongst Nigerians and they have programmes lined up to mark this year’s GEW. Fortunately for me, I will be speaking at two separate events to mark GEW and I encourage you to attend either or both.

The SME Toolkit Conference will be my first speaking engagement to mark the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2011

I will be discussing the track “Leveraging on Online Presence and Social media for businesses growth.”  along with others. It will be conversation style – so no power point presentation. The moderator basically coordinates the conversation and the audience will join in. This is another event you don’t want to miss! Apart from the fresh insight you will gain, it is also a great time to network.

Date: 16th November, 2011
Time: 9am – 5pm
Venue: Terra Kulture, Tiamuyi Savage, Victoria Island, Lagos
Fee: N7,500

The Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) of the Pan-African University leads the pack of well meaning institutions celebrating the Global Entrepreneurship Week and have lined up a number of events that will help SMEs grow. Click here for more details.

“Be the change you want to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi

This quote is one of the reasons I am passionately promoting these events.

Do you now see why I love to write about entrepreneurship and business? I desire to see great changes in Nigeria and I believe one of the sure ways this change can happen is the growth and development of the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
